Weapon Snatch adds a simple but useful close-range disarm mechanic to FiveM. When another player is aiming a supported handgun at you, you can attempt to grab the weapon directly from their hands. The attempt is chance-based and fully configurable, making it suitable for police interactions, hostage situations, robberies, roleplay scenarios, or custom job systems. The resource is designed to work both as a standalone interaction and as a component inside larger police or job resources. ### Features * Configurable weapon snatch success chance * Requires the target to be aiming at the player * Optional armed-player requirement * Configurable maximum interaction distance * Configurable cooldown between attempts * Configurable weapon whitelist using weapon name patterns * Configurable excluded weapons * Optional job restriction * Optional on-duty requirement * Automatic framework detection * Automatic inventory detection * Built-in `ox_target` interaction * Built-in target can be disabled for custom integrations * Client and server exports for custom target systems, radial menus and job scripts * Custom server-side permission checks * Custom weapon-transfer handler support * Localization support ### Supported Frameworks * ESX * QBCore * Qbox / `qbx_core` ### Supported Inventories * `ox_inventory` * `qs-inventory` * `qb-inventory` * ESX weapon loadout * ESX item-based inventories Weapon Snatch can automatically detect the framework and inventory system, or both can be selected manually in the configuration. ### Integration The resource includes exports that allow developers to integrate the mechanic into: * `ox_target` * `qb-target` * radial menus * police job scripts * custom interaction systems * custom duty systems The built-in `ox_target` option can be completely disabled when another resource handles player interactions. ### Dependencies Required: * `ox_lib` * ESX, QBCore or Qbox * A supported inventory system Optional: * `ox_target` * `dw_duty` The resource is lightweight, configurable and intended to be easy to integrate into existing FiveM servers.
